Caralee & Shane were married just after Christmas, on a super hot summer day in Far North Queensland.

Rainforest Estate is a stunning, lush wedding venue tucked away in the rainforest north of Port Douglas, QLD.

One day, Shane & Caralee will be able to show these photos to their soon-to-be-Earthside daughter, and tell her the story of how she came to Mum & Dad’s wedding day 😍😍⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This was a super special wedding for me – it brought back so many vivid memories of our own wedding day last year, where Amy was 5 months pregnant with our baby girl.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Looking back through these images, I notice how Shane’s hand subconsciously gravitates towards Caralee’s belly – even when we aren’t trying to take “baby bump” photos. That warm, nurturing, protective instinct kicks in early – and strong.

The summer heat was pretty brutal – even more so when you’re pregnant! After the ceremony finished, we all made a bee-line for the welcome refreshing arms of AC in the house! Then it was time to sneak out for a few photos, which we managed to wrap up just before a massive downpour arrived!

The evening was a perfect blend of great speeches, some heartfelt video messages from overseas friends who couldn’t make it, and delicious food created by Chriso.
