Paronella Park wedding photos | Sikh wedding photographer Cairns | Satkirat & Jaskaran

 

Could you imagine a more romantic setting for your wedding photos than Paronella Park ? Built in the 1930’s by Spanish immigrant Jose Paronella, it has hosted it’s share of glamorous soirees over the years. Inspired by memories of Catalan castles from childhood, Paronella set about building the most romantic estate possible for his new bride.

So it was only fitting that, after their wedding ceremony in the Innisfail Sikh Temple, Satkirat and Jaskaran headed out to Paronella Park for their wedding photos.

We strolled through the avenue of Kauri trees, explored the beautifully restored old buildings, and soaked up the majesty of the waterfall.

Afterwards, we headed to a nearby farm for a few sweeping hillside images overlooking the valleys. The ground was soaked from recent rain, and super muddy! Luckily, Satkirat and Jaskaran were determined to get out and embrace the elements. We were blessed with the most incredible golden sunlight, which then morphed into a crazy rain shower – every season possible was thrown our way!
