Isaac is absolutely amazing. We felt so comfortable with him and his suggestions for photo ideas were amazing! ✨Family magic ✨

We photographed Lily and Jake’s wedding in October last year, when Lily was 12 weeks pregnant. It was so lovely to catch up with them again on Friday, meet their beautiful new addition, and capture this next chapter for their family 🤍

This location is one of my favourites at the moment — the golden, swishy grass, the warm afternoon light, and those beautiful mountains and river in the background. Just magic!

Their newest little love was a little tired and unsure about the whole photoshoot thing at first, but eventually gave in and fell fast asleep, which meant we got some of the sweetest, sleepiest photos to finish off the session 🥹

A perfect backyard dream wedding 😍

Lauren & Liam met at high school, and shortly afterwards the Mareeba rodeo kicked off a romance that - 10 years later -
brought us to this epic day.

Cute rustic, boho styling, some longhorn cows, surprise fireworks, and plenty of friends & family ready to party!

The odd passing rain shower couldn’t dampen their spirits (and made for some awesome rain photos) - everyone was having the best time 😍

☀️ How life can change in the most beautiful ways ☀️

Three years ago, we had the absolute joy of photographing Josh and Amy’s wedding.

Last week, I had the privilege of photographing them again, this time with their beautiful little Olive.

One moment you’re celebrating the beginning of a marriage, and before you know it, you’re holding your little person in your arms and discovering an entirely new season of life together.

The early days of parenthood are so all-consuming; the wonder, the tiredness, and all of the little milestones. But there’s nothing better than getting to witness the world again through the eyes of someone experiencing everything for the very first time.

I feel so incredibly grateful that my job allows me to follow families through these chapters and document a little piece of their story along the way.

We were so lucky to have the most beautiful sunshine for this session, and I especially loved watching Olive experience the beach and ocean for the very first time. She wasn’t quite convinced about the ocean water and was a little unsure about feeling the sand between her toes too, but watching her take it all in was just the sweetest thing.

The Sugar Shed in Yorkeys Knob set the scene for Chloe & Ben’s incredible wedding day 🥰

Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Chloe’s Aunty led the ceremony - so special to have someone so close to you be able to officiate your wedding!

Then we adventured around the property chasing the golden sunlight, before heading back to kick off the party and dance the night away.

It was such a beautiful day, the perfect mix of being aesthetic AF but at the same time super chilled and laid back vibes 🙌🏼

❤️ MADISON & KRISTIAN ❤️

A chance meeting in a butchers shop 13 years ago sparked an incredible romance between these two beautiful humans.

Over the years they’ve endured long distance, health battles, and overcome so many obstacles together - which forms the kind of bond that was so evident to see on their wedding day.

Crazy strong winds on Trinity Beach weren’t exactly what we ordered - but the hairstyles stood strong, the veil did all the swishy veil things - and despite some dramatic stormy skies, the rain held off for us.

Later in the evening, just as we arrived back at the Chambers, the rain did arrive - right on cue. We took the opportunity to sneak outside into the middle of a busy intersection to capture a magical epic rain shot ✨

Then everyone partied the night away - it was such a fun, uplifting wedding day and I’m honoured that you chose me to share a part in it 🥰🥰

I’ve said it before, but I need to say it again… 🤍

One of the greatest privileges of this job is that it doesn’t end on a wedding day. I get to meet two people in the excitement of planning a life together, photograph their wedding, and then, if I’m lucky, be invited back years later to capture the family they’ve created.

I first met Beau and Dylan about five years ago when they were newly engaged. Since then, I’ve photographed their wedding, and now this is our second family session together. Every time I’ve seen them, their story has unfolded a little more.

Sunday afternoon was everything I love about family photography. Before the session, I saw the sweetest little video on Beau’s Instagram of her giving Harvey an airplane ride on her feet, and I knew I wanted to recreate that feeling in photos. I honestly couldn’t love these images more. They feel playful, genuine, and capture their bond so beautifully.

Afterwards, Beau said to me, “I just want to bottle these moments up and keep them forever.” I don’t think there’s a better way to describe this season of parenthood.

One of my favourite things about photographing families is noticing the little dynamics that make them who they are. Beau is the adventurous one, always ready to get silly and play, while Dylan is the calm, gentle presence. I loved watching the two of them together with Harvey. Love doesn’t always look the same, and I think that’s one of my favourite things about it.

Thank you, Beau, Dylan and Harvey, for inviting me back into another chapter of your lives. Being trusted to capture these seasons is something I’ll never take for granted.

Rylee & Christopher wanted to make their wedding day all about family, friends, and spending as much time with their guests as possible 🥰

Instead of heading off for a long bridal party photo session, they chose to just hang out with everyone - watching the kids enjoy the bouncy castle, playing lawn games, sharing hugs, laughs and conversations, and simply being present.

The grand total time spent on their “couple shoot” was 3 minutes, as the golden light settled over the pine trees… just enough to capture a few beautiful portraits for the wall, and then back to the party!

It was a perfect celebration of their love, and was an absolute joy be there capturing it all 🙌🏼

🌼 It’s been a fun July 🌼

We enjoyed heading to the drive-in to watch the new Minions movie during the school holidays, followed by all the little moments we love most—homemade scones and tea, pizza evenings on the Esplanade, Sunday brunches at Gigi, bubble tea dates, and plenty of adventures together.

This month we explored the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair, had an action-packed day at the Cairns Show where Imogen braved her first big rides, and Imogen and I also got to attend our first wedding together as guests, which was really special.

We also loved having Isaac’s sister, Meg, visit from New Zealand for a week, giving us the perfect excuse to show her around Cairns, discover some new cafés and restaurants, and spend a beautiful day exploring the Tablelands together.

Peak wedding season is always our busiest time of year, but we’ve been making a conscious decision to prioritise family time. It does mean our gallery delivery times have stretched out a little, but it’s a trade-off we’ve realised we need to make. These moments with Imogen while she’s little are something we want to be as present for as possible. Thank you to our couples for your patience and understanding. 🙏

For this month’s family photos, we headed up to the Tablelands with Aunty Meg, chasing waterfalls, wandering beneath the incredible Cathedral Fig Tree, and stumbling across the most beautiful broccolini field. Looking back through these photos always makes me so grateful that we continue making the time to document our own family too.

Imogen now has the cutest little smile after losing her two front teeth! 🥹

Here’s to another month of little moments that add up to mean everything. 🤍

Then it was down to Port Douglas for their reception at the Sugar Wharf, where everyone enjoyed beautiful sunset canapés and cocktails on the deck - before heading inside to party the night away 💃

❤️ LEXI & MAREK ❤️

After their first meeting at Muai Thai training class where Marek accidentally head kicked Lexi … 😅 … they decided to have their first date at a waterfall in Mowbray, near Port Douglas.

On the drive home from that very first date, they went past these beautiful big lakeside houses and said to each other “what a stunning property, imagine having a wedding there!”.

Fast forward a few years, and that is exactly what happened 😍

After their ceremony near the lake, we wandered around the grounds to soak up the beautiful late afternoon golden light.

Throughout the day, a selection of meats and vegetables were being slowly smoked over an open firepit… and soon the wait was over and it was time to tuck into an epic feast, under the glow of festoon lights.

The dancefloor was pumping all night - and we wrapped things up with a final epic photo underneath the stars ✨✨

It was such a magical wedding celebration for Hayley & Jessie 🥰

After their ceremony, we stopped into @billycartbrewing for a few cold ones & the chance for Hayley and Jessie to test out their pouring skills behind the taps 🍺

As we made our way back from Atherton to their family property in Koah, we made a few stops - some magnificent longhorn cattle, and a beautiful grass field that I’ve been eyeing up for at least 3 years & never had an opportunity to pass by on a wedding day 🩷

Then it was back to party the night away in the backyard under a curtain of fairy lights ✨✨
