Port Douglas wedding photographer | Sugar Wharf wedding photos | Destination wedding photography
Kim & Tamas were married by the edge of the ocean at Little Cove in Port Douglas, and celebrated the night away at the nearby Sugar Wharf.
This was one of the most touching, heartfelt, genuine, and real wedding days we have ever been privileged to be part of.
The morning couldn’t have been a more different vibe between the boys & girls prep!
With a large bridal party, the girls were kept busy with hair & makeup for 10 people – all taking place in a stunning hilltop property in Port Douglas. Meanwhile, the boys were getting ready on Tamas’ family property in Julatten … with their morning involving a creek swim, a game of basketball, and then eventually, quickly getting ready for the wedding.
The ceremony itself was intimate and personal, with so much laughter and personality woven throughout (props to Anna from the Love Chronicles who is the best in the game at making ceremonies that are intimately personal)
Afterwards, we took a few photos in the warm glow of the golden afternoon sunlight, before wandering back over to the Sugar Wharf to kick off the night. What a party it was – complete with a brides’ family vs grooms’ family dance-off 🙌🏻
Here are a few favourite images from throughout the day – enjoy!
