Malanda Lodge wedding photos | Rainy wedding photos | Tablelands wedding photographers

 

There’s a reason that Malanda looks so lush and green, with those gorgeous rolling hills of farmland … it’s because it rains up there!

Luckily, Malanda Lodge is perfectly equipped to deal with wet weather … I’ve shot weddings there on rainy days where the ceremony could still take place under the big trees on the lawn … but for Jenna & Stephen, the call was made that going indoors for the ceremony was the best bet – and it was stunning.

Cozy and intimate, they shared their vows in front of their closest friends & family – and their two doggos looking on, comfortably curled up at their feet.

After the ceremony & group photos, we grabbed our umbrellas and headed out to embrace the elements. My biggest tip – if it rains on your wedding day – just get out there and enjoy it. You get some beautiful images in the rain!

Then it was back to the Lodge to party the night away, complete with a champagne tower, lots of heartfelt speeches, and an epic dancefloor.
