Ellis Beach Yacht Club is one of my absolute fav wedding venues in Cairns. It checks all the boxes – blank canvas to style exactly how you want… absolute beachfront… gorgeous photo locations only a short stroll away… and allows for guests to have a chill, backyard party style evening with the sound of the ocean swishing in the background.

Beau & Dylan’s wedding at Ellis Beach was a stunning day – they both got ready at the nearby Ellis Beach holiday park, and were married under the shade of the huge gum tree that frames the ocean. Their two doggos were there with them, curled up patiently by their feet as they spoke their vows to one another.

After the ceremony, the dogs joined us for a little walk on the beach – and we were treated to some beautiful late afternoon golden sunlight, and a beautiful sunset.

Back at the Ellis Beach Yacht Club – the festoon lights sparkled overhead as the evening moved from dinner & speeches into party mode – capping off with the full moon rising up out of the ocean.
